The meeting will be chaired by Professor Terry Threadgold. Terry is a member of the PFA Academic workload steering group, ex Pro Vice Chancellor Staff and Diversity of Cardiff University, and a member of the UK national Equality and Diversity Advisory Panel (EDAP) for REF 2014.

The working group will explore the following topics:

1) The reasons and rational for Academic Workload Planning/ Modelling. 
2) The process and approach to create buy in and agreement across the diverse groups in a University.
3) The relationship between workload planning and performance management.
4) Different approaches to workload models.
